Recover Photos/Files from Corrupted SD Card
Suddenly got a message read “SD card is corrupted. Please format it.” when connecting the SD card to your computer. Then you try to connect the SD card to your device but still got the same message.
Does that mean all the files/photos in the SD card will lost forever? Can I find them back before throwing away or formatting the corrupted SD card?
In fact, there is no need to worry about the missing photos and files, because they could be recovered.
Why SD card Got Corrupted and Data inside Become Inaccessible?
SD card got corrupted due to many reasons like aging, the device out of power suddenly, etc. Once the SD card got corrupted, the data inside will usually become inaccessible. And if you tried to open the SD card in your computer, system will notify you that this card is not accessible and you need to format it before using it again.

Notifications before Recovery
- Do not format the SD card even the computer inform you to do that.

How to Recover Photos/Files from Corrupted SD Card
Step 1: Connect your SD card to your PC. Then launch Renee Undeleter and select the scan mode you want.
In this demo, we select Fast Partition Scan which includes Fast Scan and Deep Scan mode.
Step 2: Select the SD card in which you kept your deleted data before.
Step 3: Select the file types you want to scan. This will save your time.
If you can not make sure the file types, you can skip this step.
Tips：Click “Next” to scan. You can preview the scanned pictures while scanning before recovering.
Step 4: Select the files you want to recover. And select the destination which you want to restore the data to.
Please note that: You are not recommended to select the disk which you recovered your data from to be the destination because this will overwrite the source data.
