Sometimes you type in a document, but text at the insertion point is deleted. This is caused by the overtype mode. If you want to sto the text from disappearing, you need to turn off overtype mode. Here we will take Office Word 2003 as an example to show you how to turn it off.

Method 1:

Please find “Overwrite” on the interfacef of Word and double-click it to make it gray.
