|Telus: it plans to deploy the 5G commercial networks from 2019 to 2020.
|TeliaEesti and DNA plan to introduce the 5G services in 2019.
|SK Telecom, Korea Telecom and LG Uplus have announced to begin 5G commercial deployment in March, 2019.
|O2 plans to deploy the 5G networks in 2021.
|Telstra: it is testing the 5G technology in the new 5G test center. It will introduce the 5G services in 2019.
|Optus: it will introduce the 5G wireless services in the nation, then introduce the designated products to some specific markets.
|China Mobile: it has launched the 5G tests at over 500 sites in 5 cities from 2018; and it has demonstrated the business in hundreds of sites in 12 cities. 5G commercial services will be expected before 2020.
|China Telecom: it began the 5G plan in 2018 in some trial cities and it has confirmed that it will introduce the 5G commercial services in 2020 in Xiong’an, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Suzhou, Chengdu, Lanzhou and other 6 cities.
|China Unicom: it has launched the 5G speculation tests in 16 cities. It will demonstrate the business and explore the commercial services in 2019. The official services will be expected in 2020.
The industry standard group 3GPP has currently released the 5G standards. It’s said that the initial 5G commercial network and devices are in NSA, namely supported by the existing 4G infrastructure. It should be a transition stage for the entirely 5G network update before maturation of SA.
