Solutions To iPhone 3004 Error

If series of 3000 error occur, it usually means that iTunes cannot connect to server gs.apple.com via port 80 or 443. It is because it is interrupted by security software and firewall software that are overdue or improperly configured. If you feel confused, please follow the recommendations below to solve this problem.

1. Please make sure that iTunes has been updated to the latest version and temporarily shut down iTunes and security software running in the background. Additionally, please replace USB cable and connect commuter again after restarting the PC. If it still does not work, please try the method below.

2. Please find the hosts file in system disk(C disk) in the following location: C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc

Usually, Windows system protects its own folders in folder Windows. So the files inside cannot be directly modified with editing software. But we can copy the file to desktop and modify it in notepad.

Open host file in Notepad. Find and deleted the line 127.0.0.1 gs.apple.com #iHelper Added which is in bottom. Finally, save the file and restart your computer.

After the modification, just copy the host file to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc and replace the original file.
