The followings are the differences between these three new 2019 iPhones.

1. Size

The screens of new iPhones are 5.85 inches (iPhone 11 Pro), 6.1 inches (iPhone 11) and 6.5 inches (iPhone 11 Pro Max). The display of iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max is OLED while that of iPhone 11 is only LCD.

The OLED display is called as “Super Retina XDR” by Apple, better than LCD screen. For example, compared with iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max, the contrast ratio of the OLED screen can be 2,000,000:1 and the maximum brightness be 1,200nit while that of the LCD screen is only 1400:1 and the maximum brightness is only 625nit.

iPhone 11 has only two cameras while iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max are equipped with three cameras.

All of these three phones are shipped with 12MP sensors. But as the above table shown, each camera functions differently.

Moreover, all of them contains night mode. When you turn on this mode, you can shoot multiple photos at a time. The A13 Bionic processor can run high performance in order to correct the dithering and noise points. That will make your photos brighter.

Meanwhile, the function of optical image stabilization has been improved for the new iPhone camera. You will not frequently use the flashlight under the dark environment but the photos will be brighter than those shot by the former iPhone models.

3. Appearance

iPhone 11 is still shipped with the dual-camera system while the first triple-camera system is used in iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. All of these cameras are collected with a square.

4. Color

You have 6 choices of iPhone 11, namely red, black, white, yellow, green and purple. But the colors of iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max are identical, gold, space grey, silver and midnight green.

5. CPU/Memory Specification

Apple always updates the CPU along with the new models. But this time, the new 2019 iPhones are shipped with A13 Bionic.

The A13 Bionic is the 6-core engine, with two performance cores and 4 efficiency cores. The performance cores are up to 20% faster and use up to 40% less power; the efficiency cores are up to 20% faster and user up to 40% less power.

The new engine is up to 20% faster and uses up to 15% less power. Two new machine learning accelerators on the CPU run matrix math computations up to six times faster, allowing the CPU to perform over one trillion operations per second.

In addition, the capacity of iPhone 11 is 4GB while that of iPhone 11 Pro/11 Pro Max is 6GB.

6. Water Resistance

The rating of iPhone XR is IP67 (water resistant to a depth of a meter for up to 30 minutes). But that of iPhone 11 reaches to IP68 (water resistant to a depth of 2 meters for up to 30 minutes).

In addition, the rating of iPhone XS/XS Max is IP68 (water resistant to a depth of 2 meters for up to 30 minutes) and that of iPhone 11 Pro/ 11 Pro Max overreaches IP68 (water resistant to a depth of 4 meters for up to 30 minutes). If it is unfortunately dropped into the water, you should only worry about whether you can pick it up.

7. Battery

The battery life span has been greatly extended for iPhone 11/11 Pro/ 11 Pro Max.
