Apple Bans iPhone 8 Screen Replacement from Third Party

As for users who use iPhone 8, please don’t update to iOS 11.3 if you’ve already replaced your phone screen through a third-party.
According to feedback from an increasing numbers of users, iPhone 8 screen replacement from the third-party fails to work if system is updated to iOS 11.3.
Actually this situation happened in iPhone 7. The main reason is that touch ID chip is not upgraded accordingly if replacement of phone screen is handled by the third-party. It results in iOS system banning all touch inputs from its device.
Moreover, the third-party maintenance complained that iOS system would forbid Face ID if the illumination sensor or TrueDepth Camera of iPhone X was changed. It causes failure to unlock the device. So users will turn to after-sale services of Apple and sometimes need to pay more for the repair.
