AV-TEST released the antivirus software test result of Jan and Feb in 2018. It shows that Windows built-in software - Defender got the third place.



AV-TEST released the antivirus software test result of Jan and Feb in 2018. However, this test was run on a Windows 10 enterprise computer, which is not so close to common users. The first place still belongs to Kaspersky without a single false positive. Symantec and Trend Micro also received the maximum score of 18 points.

Bitdefender got the second place with 17.5 points (did not get the maximum point in Usability). And Avast, McAfee and Defender got the third place with 17 points.Yes, Defender from Windows got the third place. It got full point 6.0 in protection while performance and usability got 5.5.

The last one in the test is F-Seecure with only 14.5 points.
