Steps:
① Download and install Renee PDF Aide. Then, open the software and get into [PDF Tools].
② Click on [Split], and then [Add Files] to select one or more PDF files.

① Install and open Adobe Acrobat DC. Select [File] – [Open], and then select the PDF file.

Steps to encrypt PDF:
① Open the software and select [PDF Tools] – [En/Decrypt] – [Add Files], and then select the PDF file.
②Next, choose [Encrypt PDF files] and set a password. After that, check the options to disable the limitations, such as printing, modification, text/image extraction, comment, form filling and sign.
③ Finally, click on [Convert] to encrypt PDF.
Steps to decrypt PDF:
① Select [Decrypt PDF files].
② Click on [Edit] to type the possible passwords. It is noted that a password set should be a line.
③ Finally, click on [Convert] to decrypt the PDF file.
