① How to perform SD card partition recovery with Renee Undeleter?
Here are the steps:
Step 1: Connect SD card to the computer via card reader. Download and install Renee Undeleter on the computer. Launch Renee Undeleter and click on the option [Whole Disk Scan].

2. Rebuild the Partitions on the SD Card If There Is No Important Data in it

If there is no important data in the partition, you can recover the deleted partition directly in Disk Management. Here are the steps:
Step 1: Right-click on the [Start] menu, and click on Disk Management.
Step 2: Find out the disk of the SD card and right-click on the unallocated partition. Then, select the option [New Simple Volume]. After that, follow the wizard to set the capacity size, drive number, file system, etc.
Tips: If the SD card is used in the Android phone, it’s suggested to select the FAT32 or exFAT file system, because most Android phone doesn’t support NTFS.

If the partition on SD card disappears suddenly rather than being removed by mistake, it’s possible that the SD card is not working or is damaged. Therefore, check and fix it after partition is rebuilt.

1. Check the File System Errors in Windows

Here are the steps:
Step 1: Open File Explorer. Right click on the partition of SD card, select [Properties] — [Tools], and then click on the button [Check].

2. Use the CHKDSK Command to Repair SD Card

Step 1: Type cmd in the search box at the lower left corner of the computer screen. Then, select the option “Run as administrator”.

Step 2: Type chkdsk F: /f /r /x in the command prompt and press [Enter] to check and repair the errors of SD card.
Chkdsk: checks the volume’s file system and file system metadata for logical errors and physical errors.
F: refers to the drive number of the SD card partition.
/f will repair errors on the disk.
/r will find bad sectors and recover readable information.
/x refers to forcibly unmounting the volume if necessary; all open handles of the drive will be invalid.
