1. How to Boot Windows 10 from USB Flash Drive in BIOS
1. Start your computer and please press related button to get into BIOS when the logo of the motherboard manufacturers pop up on the screen. The button could be different on the basis of the manufacturer. But probably could be DEL or F2. Please click here to know about how to change the boot order of your computer.
2. Fast Boot function is equipped in Windows 10. If you enable this function, your computer will be failed to boot from USB. If you want to boot the computer from USB, please select [Boot] after getting into BIOS and then select [Enabled] in Launch CSM.
3. You will get into BIOS after restart. Please find [BOOT] tab and set the related USB disk to the first boot option. Save the settings and exit. Then your computer will boot from USB disk after restart.
2. How to Create Windows 10 USB Installation Disk
We can download Windows 10 Media Creation Tool from Microsoft. Then we can create Windows 10 bootable media with this download tool. When system gets wrong, we can fix or even reinstall the system with this installation disk.

Please click [Download tool now] after loading into the web page to get the MediaCreationTool.exe.
Attention: Please make sure the capacity of the USB disk reach 8GB at minimum. It is recommended to create the installation disk with a blank USB disk because all data inside the USB disk will be erased when creating the installation disk. Please connect the USB disk to computer after preparation.
1. This is the first screen you will see after launching Windows 10 Creation Tool. Please click [Accept] after you check the agreement.
2. Please click [Create installation media for another PC] and continue.
3. Then we can select language, edition and architecture for the Windows 10 system. It will select [Use the recommended options for this PC] in default. If you want install system in different computers with this system installation disk, it is recommended to select [Both] in [Architecture]. Generally, x64 is recommended in new computers.
4. Select the target disk which you want to save the Windows 10 installation file. Here we should choose [USB flash drive]. Besides, please make sure the minimum capacity of the USB disk is 8GB.
5. Please select target USB disk in the list and then click [Next]. (This step will delete all data inside the USB disk as well as format the USB disk as FAT32. Please backup data inside the USB disk beforehand.)
6. Then it will download and verify Windows 10 Image. And will format the USB disk and saving new files to the USB disk. Duration of this process will be based on the Internet and computer hardware.
7. You will receive the notification that [Your USB flash drive is ready] which means that your USB installation disk has been created successfully.
3. Get Access to Windows Recovery Environment with Windows 10 Installation Media
Sometimes, Windows 10 Update will fail to configure because of some accident when installing. As a result, users can not get into system or Windows Recovery Environment with traditional methods. Here, we may need to reinstall whole Windows system to solve this problem. But we can try to get access to Windows Recovery Environment with system installation disk before system re-installation.
1. Set target computer to boot from Windows 10 USB installation disk with steps above. Then click [Next] when you get into the page as below.
2. Select [Repair your computer] at the left-bottom corner of the Installation interface.
3. Then you will get into Windows Recovery Environment. Please select [Troubleshoot] and then [Advanced Options].
4. Click [Startup Repair] to fix the system bootable failure.
5. If [Startup Repair] can not fix the problem, please return to [Advanced Options] and select [Reset this PC]. Then please reinstall Windows 10 with the installation disk you created.
4. Rescue Computer Data with Renee Passnow
