office 365 backup

I. What is Office 365, and what is the difference between it and Office 2016?

Office 365 is Microsoft’s “cloud” solution and is maintained by Microsoft. Office 365 was opened to the public in June 2011, providing services such as Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, and Access), as well as other commercial services, such as: One Drive for business, Exchange Online, Skype for Business, SharePoint Online, Yammer, Microsoft, etc.
With this service, users can access and use all services and content online without being limited to local operations. Therefore, there is no need for a series of complicated issues such as maintenance of the local server, repair of bugs, or update of content.
Compared with Office 365 and Office 2016, the differences between the two mainly lie in the following points:
Method of purchase: Office 2016 is a one-time purchase product that can be used on a PC or Mac for permanent use after purchase; Office 365 is equivalent to a subscription service that requires annual or monthly subscription fees, and Office 365 Home Edition can share the subscription with up to four people.
Upgrade service: Office 2016 can be used permanently after purchase, but it cannot be upgraded to a higher version. Users need to re-purchase if they want to use the latest version; Office 365 can enjoy free feature updates and upgrade services, and ensure that you can get the latest version of Office applications.
product content: Office 2016 includes applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, while Office 365 includes not only all programs of Office 2016, but also functions such as Outlook, PC-side Access, and Publisher.
Use the platform: Office 2016 is designed for a single operating system and can only be used on one PC or Mac, and only basic editing functions can be obtained on a tablet or mobile phone; while the Office 365 Home Edition can be used by up to 5 people, and everyone can install programs on their own computers (Mac and Windows PCs are available), and at the same time install and log in to Office applications on tablets and smartphones to obtain additional functions.
Additional network disk services: Office 2016 does not include additional network storage services, while Office 365 can store files securely in the cloud and access them from anywhere. Each Office 365 subscriber (Office 365 Home Edition supports up to 5 users) can get 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage space for free.
Technical after services: Office 2016 can get initial technical support at the time of installation, but does not include follow-up technical support. Office 365 users who encounter technical issues or need subscription and billing support can contact Microsoft at no additional cost while using their subscription.
