Step 1: Search [cmd] or [command prompt] in the search bar. Then, right click at [command prompt] and select [Run as administrator].

Step 2: In the following window, type the command [chkdsk f: /f]. “f:” indicates the letter of the target SSD and “/f” is the fix command. Next, press the Enter key and type [y] twice to start up the CHKDSK command. If the command cannot work on the target disk, you will be asked to check the disk in the next re-startup.

Step 3: After that, launch Command Prompt again and type [chkdsk (disk letter): /f /x]. “/x ” indicates the volume to be dismounted. Finally, type [y] and press the Enter key to fix the SSD.
